Description: SPRINGS displays springs throughout Pima County. The springs were extracted from the USGS GeoNames database, USGS DLGs, the ADWR surface water rights database, and field reconnaissance conducted by Pima County staff. Known Errors/Qualifications: This layer has been updated to include springs from the ADWR surface water rights database. Upon merging datasets a number of attributes from this database were included that are not pertinent to features from the other three sources. Use the SOURCE field to select or perform a definition query that excludes ADWR source data if necessary. ADWR spatial accuracy to within +/- 10 acres. Lineage: Merged Geonames, DLG, PC, and ADWR datasets together. 2 springs added 8/16/10 from Golder Associates report titled High Groundwater Geotechnical Report for Tres Lomas North.
