Description: HANDIBND displays the HandiCar Service Area boundaries. The first major expansion of service area was approved by the Board of Supervisors in September 2007. In November 2009 another addition to the service area was approved near I-10 and Tangerine Road. When annexations take place within the greater eligilbility boundary areas former within unincorporated service areas are redesignated as within incorporated service areas. Lineage: Newly approved expanded service areas were added to the coverage. Jurisdictions from lim_corp added Sept 25, 2007. CJ Service area expansion at I-10 and Tangerine Road added. September 2009. CJ Features within the COT annexation at Raytheon switched from unincorporated service area to incorporated service area November 2009. CJ EXPAN_DATE field added January 2010. CJ Service area expansion Oro Valley added 9/14/2010 Spatial Domain: Eastern Pima County Rectified: parcel Maintenance Organization: PC ITD GIS Special Projects Maintenance Description: Boundaries are updated based on approved service area expansions. The EXPAN_DATE field must be updated to include the month and year of an expansion area is approved. Annexations may necessitate the redesignation of a feature from part of the unincorporated service area to part of the incorporated service area.
